The owner of Adventure Marine Manufacturing Inc., Gerard Raps, started in the marine manufacturing business in 1974. Most marine products manufactured by Adventure Marine started with an idea; others were existing boat accessories which needed improvements.

This 35 year tradition for quality and performance in boating products continues and Adventure Marine Manufacturing Inc. has built a solid reputation that understands the special needs within the Marine Industry.

Gerard Raps has introduced many new and improved products to the marine industry over the years. Adjustable feature for outboard motor brackets, poly propylene mounting boards to outboard motor brackets, dinghy swivel outboard motor brackets, adaptors for outboard motor brackets, first aluminum stabilizer in the early 70's and more. Gerard Raps is also the owner of several patents and in November 2002 received a US patent for the propeller safety guards.
